The White Cloud Mountain Minnow (Tanichthys albonubes) is a small, hardy freshwater fish renowned as an ideal "starter fish" for beginners. Originally discovered in the cool streams of the White Cloud Mountains in southern China, it is often called the "Poor Man's Neon Tetra" due to its affordability and striking silver-green body with a bright red tail.
